APAN59, a meeting of the Asia-Pacific Advanced Network (APAN), will be held at Pacifico Yokohama for five days from Monday, March 3 to Friday, March 7, 2025. APAN is an international non-profit organization whose core members are National Research and Education Networks (NRENs) in the Asia-Pacific region, established in 1997 and registered as a corporation in 2009.
APAN provides advanced networking to the research and education community in the Asia-Pacific region, promotes the adoption and research of network applications and technologies, facilitates international cooperation, and fosters human resources related to these activities.
The APAN meetings are held twice a year and always attract approximately 300 participants from around 30 countries and regions. In recent years, in addition to Japan, China, Korea, Australia, Singapore, Thailand, India, and other countries, emerging countries have been particularly active.
APAN59 will be the first meeting to be held in Japan since the APAN31 Fukuoka meeting in 2015, and we look forward to your cooperation in making this a productive meeting.
